Working At LEGOLAND®

History of LEGOLAND

LEGO was founded by Ole Kirk Christiansen in 1934. The name comes from the Danish words "Leg godt", meaning "Play well".  In 1968 the idea of making a permanent exhibition of LEGO models was hit upon and the first LEGOLAND opened in Billund, Denmark.  In 1992 Windsor Safari Park went into receivership and four years later in 1996 LEGOLAND Windsor opened on the site, using 25 million LEGO bricks.

Today, LEGOLAND Windsor currently offers over 50 interactive rides and attractions, 11 restaurants and cafés and seven shops.  At its peak, LEGOLAND Windsor Resort employs up to 250 full time staff and a further 1200 seasonal staff.  Did you know that nearly 55 million bricks are now used in the park?  Since the opening of LEGOLAND Windsor Resort, LEGOLAND California opened in 1999 and LEGOLAND Deutschland opened in 2002.

Heros Wanted

Our philosphy is totally geared to letting children be the heroes.  Children can learn to drive, operate a JCB, power a fire engine and even pilot a balloon.  To join our team you must have a passion for serving others, have stacks of exuberance and a natural affinity with children.

Creating fun for others is hard work, whatever the weather, and in the Resort many of the positions involve working outside.  A well-groomed personal appearance and the ability to work as part of a team is essential.  Please note that the minimum age requirement for employment is 16 unless otherwise stated.  The maximum age is as young as you feel!
