Press Admissions Policy

The press admissions policy for LEGOLAND® Windsor enables working media to become familiar with the park’s many featured attractions and, at the same time, enjoy a day with family. This courtesy is extended to active members of the press only, not including office, sales or retired personnel. Complimentary admission is available to working media in the following categories:

Print Media:   Publishers, editors, reporters, writers, and photographers

Broadcast Media: Station managers, news directors, public affairs directors, assignment editors, producers (news/features), on-air personnel (anchors/hosts/ DJs/reporters) and photographers

• A maximum of two adult and two child complimentary tickets will be granted per season to qualifying personnel. The qualifying media representative must accompany his or her party to the park. Complimentary press admissions do not include priority parking fees.

• Arrangements are made through the Public Relations department. A written request including the representative’s name, title, intended date of visit and contact phone number must be emailed to pressoffice@legoalnd.co.uk at least 2 working days before the visit. Requests for weekend days made after 4 p.m. on Thursday will not be granted. For holidays observed on Mondays (e.g., all Bank Holidays) email requests must be received by noon the previous Friday. The Public Relations department is closed on weekends and holidays. Office hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:45 p.m.

• Passes will be left at the Guest Services window at the main entrance of the park. This is located to the right of the turnstiles. A current media credential or a form of photographic ID is required to pick up passes. Passes are only valid on the day they are received.

• Press or Broadcast Media on Assignment: Members of the press or broadcast media on assignment must request interviews and photo sessions in advance through the Public Relations department. This will ensure that appropriate park personnel will be available at the time of the visit. All members of the press on assignment must arrive at the Security Gatehouse entrance and will be escorted during their visit. Family members and friends will not be permitted to accompany members of the press on assignment without prior approval. Any filming or photography on site is not permitted without authorisation from the Public Relations department.
