How do I apply?
You can apply and search for our current vacancies using our Job Search. Simply select a role that interests you and if the job description sounds perfect for you, click on the ‘apply' button to submit an online application form.
Our vacancies change often so please do check back as your dream job may become available at any moment. Permanent roles will become available throughout the year, and our peak seasonal recruitment typically opens for application in December.
We also recruit around March-April for our peak summer period and in September for our Halloween festivities.
You can also search for a role at one of our other attractions via the recruitment website.
What information will the online application ask for?

What happens once I apply?
You’ll receive an email confirmation when your application has been submitted. Once your application has been reviewed, we will contact you to discuss your application.
How long does it take to fill out an online application form?
The time it takes is really up to you. Comprehensive applications will help us review your application more effectively and efficiently.
We receive a high volume of applications for the roles available so this is your chance to stand out with your skills and enthusiasm.
Will I know if my application has been unsuccessful?
Yes – we’ll contact you either way to let you know whether or not you’ve been successful.
What’s the selection process?
You’ll normally be invited to an Assessment Centre and/or interviews, depending on the role.
Please remember your log-in details as you will need them again if you are attending an Assessment Centre.
What happens at an Assessment Centre?
It varies from role to role but it will most likely include short team exercises and an interview.
It’s the ideal chance to find out more about what it’s like to work for us, and for us to learn more about you.
Assessment Centres help determine whether we are the right fit for each other and we always try to make it fun.
What’s the dress code at an Assessment Centre or interview?
We'd recommend smart-casual attire. As first impressions are very important, we'd advise against jeans, trainers and sportswear.
What happens after an Assessment Centre or interview?
We will be in touch to confirm the outcome.
Are there any age restrictions?
Age restrictions apply to some roles due to Health & Safety Legislation, Licensing Laws and insurance needs. However, these requirements will be discussed at the interview stage.
For applicants under the age of 18 years old, please note that we comply with the Child and Young Workers Regulations.
What will my shifts be?
Shifts vary depending on the role and department. We will discuss the details with you at the recruitment stage.
What is the company social scene like?
All areas of Merlin have their own social clubs that hold events throughout the year. After-work drinks and department nights out are also popular. Our Resort Social Club runs regular events and membership entitles you to a whole host of discounts.

Without a doubt, the roles can be tough and demanding – it takes a special kind of person to be as friendly and positive at the end of the day as they are at the beginning. However, our teams are welcoming, committed and support each other to get the job done.
On top of that, all our managers operate an open door policy, so there's always someone you can talk to.

Yes! We’ll issue you with a pass that allows you, and your friends and family, to enjoy many of our fabulous attractions and theme parks.
