Outreach Workshops

The LEGOLAND Outreach Workshops are perfect for teachers and students to experience a fun, hands-on and engaging session hosted by our trained educational staff in your school! All of our workshops utilise the world's finest educational play materials: LEGO bricks and cover key curriculum targets including English, Computing and STEM!

These workshops are available from November 2017 and are charged at £3.25 per students. The schools must be within an hour radius of LEGOLAND.

LEGO Therapy

All Key Stages - relevant to the School Inclusion Policy - Max 15 Students

Develop and re-inforce play, communication and social skills through LEGO! In teams of three, take turns at being a LEGO Supplier, Architect or Builder, all working together to complete a LEGO Model. LEGO Therapy focuses the students on the tasks that need to be performed through encouraging verbal and non-verbal communication; collaborative problem solving and team work and covers the school responsibility for social collaborative inclusion.

LEGO Robotics

Key Stage 2&3, Age Group 8-14, Maths and Computing - Max 16 Students

Utilising the LEGO Education WeDo 2.0 Sets students will build and program their own interactive LEGO model. Using iPads, students will be able to control their LEGO Creation via a bespoke LEGO Education Program utilising Bluetooth Technology. This Workshop covers key Computing topics such as algorithms, debugging, inputs and outputs through a hands on and interactive session.

LEGO Build and Play Story Time

Key Stage 1&2, Age Group 5-11, English – Max 30 Students

Kick-start creativity and boost communication skills through our Story Based LEGO Workshop. In groups of five, students collaboratively plan and create a visual sequence with LEGO bricks creating an ordered structure to their unique stories. Students will then share their creations and stories with the group enhancing individual listening and speaking skills.
