Charity Policy

LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort's primary concern is for children and for this reason we only support registered children’s charities.

Independent fundraisers must provide a letter headed document, clearly stating your name(s), which authorises you to raise money on behalf of that charity. The letter headed document must also have the charity number and address of the charity on it.

The letter of authority can be posted with your cover letter or emailed with your cover letter. On the cover letter you must state your full name, full address incuding postcode and provide a contact number

However, due to the overwhelming number of requests we receive, we are unable to support the following registered children's groups:

  • Schools, Playgroups or Nursery Schools

  • Scouts, Guides, Brownies or Sports Clubs & Associations

  • Youth Club Organisations

For all charity and fundraising enquiries, please send an email to our charity inbox - charity.requests@legoland.co.uk.

Unfortunately, we are unable to support any charity events taking place during our closed season from 3 November 2015.

Please note that LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort does not provide cash donations and is unable to donate LEGO® products.

If you do not receive a reply from us within 1-2 weeks of applying then unfortunately your request has been unsuccessful.

Merlin's Magic Wand - Charity for children

Merlin’s Magic Wand is the charity of the world’s second biggest global visitor attractions group, Merlin Entertainments. Formed in 2008, Merlin’s Magic Wand looks to deliver magical experiences to disadvantaged children across the world – and since we began more than 110,000 children and their families have already benefitted.

Many children, through serious illness, disability or other disadvantage, are not able to enjoy the kind of days out that others take for granted. By providing tickets and financial support in the form of travel grants, Merlin’s Magic Wand aims to ensure that these children can enjoy a magical day with their friends and family at Merlin Entertainment Group’s attractions across the world. More than that, where children are too sick to visit us we are also developing a number fun play projects in hospices and hospitals close to our attractions.

To find out more information about Merlin's Magic Wand, the eligibility criteria, and how you can apply, please visit www.merlinsmagicwand.org

Merlin’s Magic Wand has been set up to work directly with children, families and organisations that will benefit from a day out. Unfortunately we are unable to provide tickets to other charities to assist them with their fundraising through raffles and auctions.
