Pest Control


LEGOLAND Windsor has appointed Ecolab to provide a robust and comprehensive pest elimination service.  As the park is bordered by natural woodland, due consideration has been given to the sensitive nature of the surrounding environment.

 

This season, LEGOLAND has appointed a dedicated Ecolab Service Specialist who will be on site five days a week during peak season (a total of 180 working days).  This specialist is trained to British Pest Control Association standards and will be supported by a District Manager and a qualified field biologist who will carry out inspections on a monthly basis.

 

Around 130 Wasp Bane units have been deployed around the park.  As part of Ecolab’s wasp programme, specialists will be pro-actively removing Queens and nests early in the season. 

Members of the Ecolab team are working closely with park staff and supporting them with expert advice on pest control.  Pest Awareness Training including wasp health and safety training is also being conducted as part of a pro-active and consistent approach.
