Sign the whole family up for some high energy fun at the Fire Academy or take to the skies with the Chopper Squadron. Fun Facts About LEGOLAND Windsor


  • There are 34 LEGO pieces in an average Miniland figure.


  • The largest model in Miniland is the Canary Wharf Tower which is 5.2 metres tall and took 3 modelmakers 850 hours to complete using 200,000 LEGO Bricks!
  • The smallest models are the pigeons in Trafalgar Square which contain 5 LEGO bricks each.

2012: LEGOLAND Windsor

LEGOLAND Windsor becomes the LEGOLAND Windsor Resort with the opening of the 150 room LEGOLAND Hotel. The Resort offers over 55 interactive rides and attractions, 11 restaurants and cafés and 7 shops.

1999 - 2012: Four more LEGOLAND Parks/Resorts

To date four more LEGOLAND Parks/Resorts have opened their doors to the public, California in 1999, Germany in 2002. Florida in 2011, and Malaysia in 2012.

2013: Merlin Entertainments becomes a plc

A new era in the history of Merlin Entertainments, as the company is listed on the London Stock Exchange.

The LEGOLAND Windsor Resort employs up to 220 permanent staff and 1800 seasonal staff from the local area.
