  • LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort opens its highly anticipated £10m rollercoaster, Minifigure Speedway
  • Minifigure Speedway becomes the world’s first LEGO® duelling rollercoaster, where cars race forwards and in reverse with a winning team every time
  • The coaster’s official mascot, Roxie, is at the heart of the new attraction and stands at a gigantic 30ft tall, making her the world’s tallest Minifigure 

April 6th, 2024: LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort welcomed thousands of guests for the grand opening of its highly anticipated new attraction, Minifigure Speedway, the world’s first LEGO® duelling rollercoaster.

Inspired by the great Speedway circuits seen across the world, thrill-seeking guests will reach speeds of up to 56km/h on the Resort’s fastest rollercoaster yet! Little racers will need to stand at a height of 1.05m and above to ride before they take their place alongside Minifigure characters including Butterfly Girl and Hot Dog Man, Bumblebee Girl and Shark Suit Guy in Team Legends and Team Allstars. Put the pedal to the metal as the head-to-head with the cars racing forwards and in reverse to win!

Leading the cheerleading charge and supporting guests as they race home to victory, will be the coaster’s official Minifigure mascot, Roxie. Sure to be an awe-inspiring hit with kids, Roxie, who was unveiled last month, is dressed in a glistening racing suit, and stands at a whopping 30ft tall, as the world’s tallest LEGO minifigure!

Tickets to LEGOLAND Windsor start from £35 per person, kids under 90cm go free. Tickets for the 2024 season are now on sale and bookable at www.legoland.co.uk
