The LEGOLAND Windsor Resort is the ultimate destination for families, and we want to extend that reputation to how we recruit our teams. That's why we're launching the Build programme; a programme designed to help hard working candidates return to work after some time out of their career; be it to care for children, another family member or for any another reason.
We have a variety of flexible shift patterns available starting at 20 hours a week up to full time, alongside a tailored induction programme, suite of Learning & Development courses AND a £150 allowance to spend on up-skilling or re-skilling in an area of your choice. You’ll also have access to a wide range of Apprenticeship courses across a variety of levels and subjects.
We’re looking for people who can work week days, either part time or full time (a minimum of 20 hours a week) and have permanent, year round contracts. Across the Resort we have two fantastic LEGO® themed Hotels, 55 rides and attractions, 13 food and drinks units and 9 retail stores – welcome to a world of opportunity! We’re initially looking in our Operational teams; that’s our Rides team, Food & Beverage, Retail, Entertainments and in our Hotel but with an internal promotion rate of 81% in 2018, the sky’s the limit and once you’re in, you’re part of the Merlin family.

Corporate Social Responsibility
The LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort’s primary concern is for children. We are delighted to support Merlin Entertainments’ special children’s charity – Merlin’s Magic Wand – who put the magic back into the childhoods of seriously ill, disabled and disadvantaged children across the world. By providing tickets and financial support in the form of travel grants, they help thousands of children and their families to have magical days out every year. For children who are too unwell for a day out, they deliver exciting Taking the Magic to the Children projects, ranging from sensory rooms to specially adapted playgrounds.

Our local charity partner is Alexander Devine Children’s Hospice Service who we work with to arrange magical experiences for the families supported by the charity. Each year the LEGOLAND Windsor Resort donate a set of family tickets to every child attending one of twelve, state first schools in Windsor. The Resort also has a partnership with the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead Children’s Services team to offer a set of free tickets to all foster carer families living within the Royal Borough.

What’s the selection process?
You’ll normally be invited to an Assessment Centre and/or interviews, depending on the role.

What happens at an Assessment Centre?
It varies from role to role but it will most likely include short team exercises and an interview.
It’s the ideal chance to find out more about what it’s like to work for us, and for us to learn more about you.

What’s the dress code at an Assessment Centre or interview?
We'd recommend smart-casual attire. As first impressions are very important, we'd advise against jeans, trainers and sportswear.

Are there any age restrictions?
Age restrictions apply to some roles due to Health & Safety Legislation, Licensing Laws and insurance needs. However, these requirements will be discussed at the interview stage.

What will my shifts be?
Shifts vary depending on the role and department. We will discuss the details with you at the recruitment stage.
