Model Maker for the Day Terms & Conditions

  1. General

1.1 For the avoidance of doubt any participant of the experience has a one-day admission ticket for the date of their experience only.

1.2 We reserve the right to change or alter the contents of the course at any time due to weather, operational factors, or any other reason.

1.3 Model Maker for the Day is not a private experience and can accommodate up to 4 guests aged between 7 and 15 years.

1.4 Payment must be made in full at point of booking and will confirm your visit.

1.5 Hotel amenities are only available for guests staying in either the LEGOLAND® Resort Hotel, LEGOLAND® Castle Hotel or LEGOLAND® Woodland Village.

1.6 A Model Maker is not guaranteed to be present during the behind the scenes visit to the Model Maker Studio.

1.7 *All packages and experiences are subject to availability. 

 

  1. Participants

2.1 Model Maker for the Day is designed for guests between 7-15 years old. In cases where guests outside of this age bracket wish to participate, the VIP Team will review the case on an individual basis.

2.2 Participants must be able to walk unaided to take part in this experience. 

 

  1. Safety of participants

3.1 There is strictly no photography allowed by either the participants or from anybody watching.

3.2 Dietary and medical requirements must be declared on the pre-arrival information sheet. The LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort is not liable for any inaccuracies listed on this form.

3.3 A parent/guardian must remain available throughout the duration of the experience. Such person may be required to collect a participant early for any reason provided by the LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort.

3.4 For the safety of other participants, adults are not permitted to accompany children onto the experience unless they meet the requirements outlined in 3.5. Should guardians/adults be in the Park they must not loiter or follow the experience in any manner.

3.5 An accompanying adult may join this experience if they:

A) Hold valid documentation that entitles them to a carer ticket, such as:

  •    Entitlement to Disability Living Allowance for children under 16 or DLA/Personal Independent Payments (PIP) for those aged 16-64, either in the form of a letter stating that the benefit has been awarded, or the actual Allowance book
  • Attendance Allowance or Carer's Allowance letter of award
  • Incapacity Benefit books, or a letter notifying the recipient that the benefit has been awarded Incapacity Benefit or Employment and Support Allowance (ESA)
  • A valid Blue Badge
  • In the case of visual impairment, a registration card known as the BD8 or a Certificate of Visual Impairment (CVI)
  • A local authority registration document which is local to the attraction where it is being submitted
  • A recognised Assistance Dog ID Card
  • Credibility’s Access Card with +1 symbol


B) Hold a valid adult ticket for the experience, this ticket entitles the adult to:

  • Private VIP Host from 08:30 - 14:00. 
  • VIP Priority Ride Access on selected rides with your VIP Host 
  • First ride of the day on one of our top attractions 
  • Uncover the secrets of LEGOLAND® Windsor 
  • Breakfast in Bricks Family Restaurant 
  • Lunch in City Walk: Pizza & Pasta 

 

  1. Refunds and Changes

4.1 Model Maker For The Day is a non-refundable experience however you are entitled to one date change for your experience. Please contact the LEGOLAND Windsor Resort VIP Team to discuss options.

4.2 Should a participant need to be collected early from the experience there will be no partial refund issued.

4.3 If a booking is made for a participant not meeting the terms and conditions, there will be no refund available unless this is highlighted to the VIP Team with more than 30 days’ notice.

4.4 We reserve the right to change or alter the contents of the course at any time due to weather, operational factors, or any other reason.

4.5 Guests who arrive later than 30 minutes to the experience may not be able to take part – this will be considered on a case-by-case basis by the VIP Team and every effort will be made to accommodate the participant.

4.6 Pick-up time from the experience is clearly detailed on your welcome email – any guests who collect their participant more than 30 minutes after this time will incur a £10 fee; for every subsequent 10 minutes a further £10 fee will apply.

4.7 Should the experience need to be cancelled for any reason we will arrange an alternate date for the experience to take place.
