Calling All Teachers! Win a School Trip

Is there a topic you are teaching in the Autumn or Spring term that you think a school trip could add an additional layer of intrigue and curiosity to? This is your chance to win a free trip for your class to the LEGOLAND Windsor Resort.

There will be two winners, one primary teacher and one secondary. Each winning teacher will win admission tickets for a group of 30 pupils plus 6 teachers for primary or 3 teachers for secondary.

How to Enter

To be in with a chance of winning simply complete this form. Once all entries have been received, the winners will be chosen by random selection. Whether you enter the primary or secondary prize draw will be determined by your answer to the question which age group is most relevant to your teaching. Goodluck!

The competition is open from the 9th July – 29th August 2025

This Agreement (“Agreement”) is between you “the teacher” and Merlin Entertainments (for the purposes hereof, “Merlin,” “we” or “us”).

  1. There will be two winning teachers (1x primary school and 1x secondary school) who will…
    1. Be awarded up to 30 pupil admission tickets (plus 6 primary teacher or 3 secondary teacher chaperone tickets) to the LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort, Winkfield Road, Windsor, Berkshire, SL4 4AY. Any pupils or teachers in addition to this sum will need to pay the attractions school fee through the normal school booking procedure.
    2. Be offered workshop of their choice as part of their school trip,
  2. To be eligible to win you will need to fill out the online competition form [www.legoland.co.uk/schools/competition] and acknowledge our terms and conditions and privacy policy of the competition. You can only enter the competition once and duplicate forms will be disregarded from selection.
  3. The competition is free to enter and will run from 9th July - 29th August 2025. The winners will be contacted on the 3rd September 2025. There will only be two winning teachers. The winning entries will be chosen at random from the submitted entry forms. How the teacher answers the question ‘which age is most relevant to your teaching?’ will dictate whether they are entered into the primary or secondary school prize draw. 
  4. The school trip must be redeemed on a weekday in the Autumn term 2025 (between the 15th September - 17th October 2025) or Spring term/first half of Summer term 2026 (between the 16th  March - 22nd May 2025). Exclusion dates are weekends, attraction closure dates and Easter Holidays (28th March-12th April).
  5. The prize is subject to availability and to the individual attraction's terms and conditions.
  6. In the event of a prize being unavailable, Merlin reserves the right to offer an alternative prize of equal or greater value.
  7. In the event of circumstances outside its reasonable control, Merlin reserves the right to void, suspend or cancel the Competition where it becomes necessary to do so, or amend or alter the terms of the promotion at any time, but will always endeavour to minimise the effect on participants to avoid undue disappointment.
  8. The date of the trip must be mutually agreed in advance between the winner and the attraction. The winner will need to advise LEGOLAND Windsor of their preferred date at least 14 working days in advance of the date so that it can be arranged. This can be done by emailing school.enquiries@legoland.co.uk . The attractions have the right to approve or disapprove the selected date at its absolute discretion.
  9. Entry is open to UK primary school teachers. A teacher is defined as any employee of an educational establishment whose job title includes the word “teacher”. The application must be submitted during the course of their employment as a teacher. Entrants must also be 18years or older (proof of identity and age may be required).
  10. If we do not hear from a winner of acceptance of the prize within 14 working days, then they reserve the right to draw another prize winner to be chosen.
  11. The prize can only be used as stipulated and cannot be exchanged for cash or used in any other way. Sale or transferral of the prize is prohibited.

  13. To withdraw a submitted application, please email EducationUK@merlinentertainments.biz to request your entry be withdrawn and include the date when the entry form was submitted.
  14. We cannot be held responsible for:
    1. any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by entrants, printing errors or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Competition;
    2. unauthorized human intervention or human error which may occur in any part of the entry process or the process for allocating the prize(s);
    3. technical or human error which may occur in the administration of the Competition or the processing of entries; or
    4. any injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from participant's participation in Competition or receipt or use or misuse of any Prize.  If for any reason an entrant's entry is confirmed to have been erroneously deleted, lost, or otherwise destroyed or corrupted, entrant's sole remedy is another entry in the Competition if it is possible.
  15. Nothing in this section shall exclude the Released Parties' liability for death or personal injury caused by its negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability whose limitation is prohibited by law.
  16. Use of a false name or school information will result in disqualification. 
  17.  Merlin reserves the right to verify all entries including but not limited to asking for address and identity details and to refuse to award a prize or withdraw prize entitlement and/or refuse further participation in the promotion and disqualify the participant where there are reasonable grounds to believe:
    1. there has been a breach of these terms and conditions
    2. a participant has gained unfair advantage in participating in the promotion or won using fraudulent means; 
    3. an entry infringes any right; or
    4. the participant's conduct is contrary to the spirit or the intention of the competition.

  19. By entering the competition, you acknowledge that the processing is necessary in order to fulfil our obligations to you in respect of this competition and to enable you to enter the Competition. You agree to Merlin transferring your personal data to other members of Merlin’s group or affiliated partners for the purpose of promoting and/or facilitating the Competition. You warrant that all personal data provided by you for the purpose of the Competition is accurate.
  20. By entering the competition, the participant agrees to be unconditionally bound by these terms and conditions.

  22. In the event of a discrepancy between these standard terms and conditions and the details in the promotional material, these terms shall prevail.
  23. If any provision of these Terms and Conditions (or any part thereof) is held to be invalid or unenforceable, all remaining provisions (or part thereof) will remain in full force and effect.
  24. These terms and conditions are governed by relevant UK law and you and we agree to only bring legal actions about these terms and conditions in a UK court. We will try to solve any disagreements quickly and efficiently.  If you are not happy with the way we deal with any disagreement you and we may agree to refer the matter to arbitration, but you and we are not restricted from bringing court proceedings.
